The Global Grad Show is an international exhibition of students “from 50 of the world’s best design schools, from 30 countries on 6 continents” (http://www.globalgradshow.com/). Three students from the Industrial Design Program at the Tshwane University of Technology were invited to exhibit their work. The project that they would be exhibiting was a manually operated clothes washing device. This was one of their 3rd Year design projects given to them by their lecturer Michael Wythe.
